New Year! Fresh Start!

Happy New Year! Another year of Blogging and ideas from us at Kenny's Carpet One to you. this year is all about fresh start so what better way then by learning some tips of the trade to freshen your home.

All About Armstrong!
Lets talk about Luxury vinyl tile!!! This wonderul vinyl product looks just like a ceramic tile but has the durability of vinyl. One great thing about the LVT is that it has the look and feel but does not have the cold feel of real tile. LVT is a great option for people that need that durablity but want the look of real tile. With a household of kids and/or pets running about maybe you dont want to worry about tiles cracking and the hassle of getting them repaired. LVT is strong and durable so it can withstand all that wear and tear.

A beautiful laminate option...with real stone characteristics. Looks just like the real thing!

If low-maintenance and durability are high on your list of flooring considerations you might want to go for a laminate option. the armstrong Lock&Fold® system is one of the best and is great for DYI'ers. there are some beautiful options to go with in look and texture.

There is also luxe plank which is vinyl that looks like wood!

Armstrong tells us that "Luxe Plank and Alterna are both made up of three primary layers. On top is a protective wear layer made of an enhanced urethane that makes it easy to clean and resistant to scratches and scuffs. There is also a protective clear film layer that adds durability and helps protect against rips, tears and gouges. On the printed design layer, the visuals are very realistic natural wood planks. The bottom-most layer is the tile backing, adding structural strength and durability." And they stay true to their word.

People love the fact that luxury vinyl feels warmer and softer underfoot than other hard-surface flooring, like ceramic tile. It’s a friendly surface for normal household use: crawling babies, dropped dishes, flying toys and spilled sippy cups.

The flooring that you put in your home should be your style and but also work with your lifestyle and have the durabilitly that you need. Choosing flooring has never gotten any easier!
